I'm stuck at Pt Mugu over that weekend with nothing to do. I will have rental car with full coverage. This could be interesting...

I've always wanted to wheel JV so if I dont win one of the raffle slots there is still an "option" available.

As I sit here on Catalina bored, I'm looking forward to Goatfest more than anything else in the coming weeks.

Not permanantly, yet. Working for a couple weeks at Naval Air Station Pt Mugu (NAWC-WD). Spending the weekend at JV will probably beat the heck out of staying at the BOQ.

BTW, I need to place the shirt order on the 10th so we will get them for JV, so please order your shirts by Nov 9th.

Ok, great. Will there be group propaganda posted as to where Naxja peeps will be? I am guessing there won't be many people there and to look for the station wagons, but asking never hurts

When you get on to the lake bed, veer gently to the left and check each camp as you go by.

Resist temptation, and drive slowly. Giant holes have a way of appearing right in front of you - holes the size of XJ's.

Look for us as you come into the bottom of the lake bed on the left hand side as Cal said. We'll try to find a nice big flat open area, but it's sooooo hard to do in the bottom of a dry lake...
