Retractable Running Boards Question

I think this will be a great mod for people who have a family, dont extremely mod the jeep and are weekend wheelers. Alot of people are not hard core go beat teh balls out of their jeeps and can survive with minimal off road mods with moderate lifts and little armor, its just a different point of view that everyone needs to see. Not everyone wants a fully armored indestructible trail machine. When i built my rock sliders i made them stick out a bit more for more side protection and to function as a step.

I really want to see the outcome of this project. Sounds like a good idea to me for what you need to do.
