Reiter check-in and trail leader volunteers.

Water is dirty
Location
Covington, WA
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

October 30th, 8AM at the McDonald's in Monroe. From there we will caravan to the trailheads (gravel pit) at Reiter and arrive at approximately 8:30AM for airdown, etc. Gotta get on the trails by 9AM or we'll be having a late lunch. CB Channel 4. If you have FRS radios, bring them. They work a hell of a lot better than CB. :D

In all fairness to the participants, I think we've got the split this up into a couple of groups. The more difficult trails are going to require about 6" lift and 33" tires with at least one locker. Everything else is doable in a stock to mildly built rig. I for one am not one to judge, but if you feel you can handle a challenge...make sure you're not going to be getting a tug the whole way up (or lagging everyone behind with kids/animals). As an instructor of mine says, 'The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.' We can split up at Reiter once we get there.

Anyone want to lead us up Isabel and Sack-Up?

Anybody up for leading folks on the other trails in the area?

Basics are going to include things like recovery points and gear (straps especially!), appropriate spare parts, fullsize spare tire, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, etc. Basic kit stuff.

Can't wait to get out there! :wave1:

Tim and I are planning on attending I think we are gonna run sac up, not sure who wants to follow us though as we are trying out some new junk.
We will have the welder with us though so feel free to break your junk and bring cash ;)

I would also like to run Sac-Up. Not sure that I have run it before so I am more interested in that than Issy.

I would also like to run the Crack or V-notch. I have not done that in forever and would like to see it again for anyone who wants to do that later in the day.

If there is a list going, I would also like to sign my brother up for the same group I am put in (even if I only have 4.5" of lift, 33's and open/open!! He is on 33's, welded/locked).

I'll be there with a buddy riding shotgun. I'm gonna give Izzy a shot, and hope for the best, as well as plenty of assistence from my compatriots. So, Monroe McD's @ 0800 hrs? That means a 0630 departure for me, and that means an act of God. Any help for our Southern brothers?

Do you need an O-dark-thirty phone call?

As said above I'll be riding with Mike and dont mind leading a group up Sacup and or Issabel.

That'd be cool, Tim. I know how to get to Reiter but for some reason I'm not placing where the hell these trails are. :D I remember them though...

I'm in. Looking forward to finally meeting you sad sacs!

Yes, but not about waking up 5 hours early. I will squeeze every minute I can out of staying in bed.

Jason, it is all about perspective!!

Think of it like this:
1. it is only 30 minutes less of sleep.
2. just go to be 30 minutes earlier.

or:
1. it is 30 more minutes of wheeling.
2. it is 30 minutes earlier getting home on Sunday.
3. it is 30 more minutes to get unstuck.
4. it is 30 more minutes of your day on Sunday.

See how wonderful that is:)
