Redbird Trail Work - Oct. 23rd

Does Wampler have showers? Decent showers?

I know Wampler is the Official campground of MWC Redbird runs (and it works better with MWC caliber :flame:) but Shakamak is 20 minutes from Dugger and they have a very nice electric campground with a nice showerhouse. More money per night, but more amenities for those coming from 7.5 hours away.

I should be there, the jeep still isnt fixed from WF. But it may be fixed by then, so I should be there, but I may need a seat if things don't work out well.

I was actually thinking of camping Sat. night if the weather cooperates. Still up in the air though depending on the kiddo situation and if I have anybody else with me. Dave's not said yea or nea yet. If he decides to not go, I'll see if anyone else is interested.

I would be up for Shakamak.

Why do you think I asked you about redbird yesterday doofus? I'm coming through there so I can pick you up or you can follow me. I told pat about it too, we shall see if he shows.

I will try as hard as I can to make it. Jeep better be done by then! Its 6hrs for me. The only thing I cant remember is when my buddy's wedding is?! haha, pretty sure its the weekend before and calendar is to many steps for me to go and check right now.

I'm ordering quarter guards this friday so I'll be ready for that bypass now! :D

If the weather cooperates and the stars are aligned properly with Saturn's fourth moon, Dave and I will be "pitching a tent".

Ya know, in the dark......his hair kind of feels like sheep wool........

I have about 30 gallons of onboard water in the camper, the electricity is a bigger deal to me since it would heat and light the camper..and the cheese machine, fridge and microwave.

I'll be there with my Jeep but this time with Quarter guards! :D

It isn't drill weekend, so I will try to be there. I won't be camping, but it's still a good time.

I still have one door that hasn't been bashed by a Redbird tree. Maybe this time.:)

Looks like I'll have to work from 3p-11p the 23rd. I'll still try and come up in the morning until lunch, probably in the truck. I was hoping to actually wheel this time around.

I will probably be able to get out there for a little while, we are hosting a sorority formal at work, so I kinda wanna be there for that. So I can probably stay till around lunch time as well

FYI FOR ALL ATTENDING CLEANUP

October 23rd is one of Redbird's scheduled night rides. In the past RF has not allowed cleanup runs during event days due to some problems. Tony and I talked about it and we are going to be allowed to proceed since we have members coming from all over, with one caveat:

If you are interested in staying in the park after normal closing, you will need to pay the $10 night ride admission. You will receive an armband that is good for wheeling until 12 (IIRC) and camping in the parking lot until 8 Sunday morning.

If you are NOT staying past closing time, your daily admission is still waived for cleanup, BUT your vehicle(s) must be out of the parking lot at closing.

Any questions please post or PM.
