i know the front bumper looks bad, but it was just a quick sheet metal fab...
im planning to match the bull bar.

Alright , all you fawkers with you're cool RC rigs , you went and got me hooked . :greensmok

I've messed around with 1/10 nitro stadium trucks for a little while and was wanting something more " replica scale "
designed with gobs of aftermarket and options for set up .
After reading some of the posts and seeing some of the pictures of scale trucks I was impressed , so I went and blew
some Christmas money on myself ( naughty list fer sure ) and bought this ...

I still need a power source but I'm currently stuck on the bolts that go through the carrier and the ring gear .
Need some tools ...

However I am even more impressed by how accurate they tried to build this kit , right down to the knuckles and tie rod , control arms even axles are built with shafts and bearings similar to the real thing .

its insane how scale you can make them! and its great for winter to crawl in your house when you dont want to freeze your @$$ off to do some snow wheelin.

Yep , that Manche body is on the list already as well as a couple other upgrades , that rancho Manche kit is sick , looks like Yella's BOR rig ...

I figured after doing some research on the RTR kits it was better if I built it from scratch so I know how to fix it and set it up properly , something I never did with my nitro trucks .
Also the main reason I went with the build kit is the pro parts that the build kits come with are already upgraded . The RTR kits mostly come with inferior parts like plastic control arms and other little things they get you for down the road .

My kit came with solid axles , metal shafts , control arms and driveshafts , so much in fact I already upgraded
the servo's with a beefy set . I was informed that the stock servo's would break the very first time I nailed the gas .

I started working on this thing yesterday , got quite a bit done so far with no problems that I know of .
For anyone wanting to save a little money buy building one of these things , I would do it in a heartbeat .
Its been real easy to build and you can't really respect the engineering until you see how it functions .

The first step is the front and rear axle build ...

Shaft , ring and pinion gear are metal , locker was already installed in the carrier before pic .

Mine was already put together/with a radio controller for 329?
Pretty cool, I climb over all sorts of stuff in the backyard(lol @ rock steps/Rock Gardens)

Mine has been pretty good, it's called scratches for a reason/by no means a crazy rig like your's manche...But I don't feel bad when Its on its lid/ washers really help weigh them down BTW. Will post pics sometime. haha,:jester:
