Rausch Creek Trail Cutting March 28th...

I may join, have to check out my finances.

Count me in should be a fun day

not going to make it
this storm has caused a bit of a work conflict im on call that weekend :(

I would like to come and help but a few of problems:
a. first time wheeling
b. no trail cutting tools
c. no membership
If someone will lend me trimmers and such, that be great. If not I'll just go and buy a pair. Someone will also need to show me the ropes, in both trimming and wheeling. Membership shouldn't be a problem but who knows.

:dunno: looks like you're a member to me, you're in red!

I've got a pair of shears you can borrow somewhere, I just need to remember to bring them.

I meant being a member of RC. Seems like you need to be a member to enter. I'm sure I can apply there. Also forgot to mention, no rear tow points, only front ones. I do have a T-case skid, gas tank skid, and a class 3 hitch waiting to go on. I was hoping to get a rear bumper so I can just mount everything on at once but I'll put the hitch and armor on if I do need it. Gas tank skid isn't painted. Don't know if I have the time to paint and install them all. I'll also need to order a receiver shackle.

1. It takes less than ten minutes to fill out the forms in the RC office when you get there. Its $10 to buy a one year membership, and wheeling on trail cutting days is free.
2. You don't need any tools for trail cutting. There will be plenty of sticks, rocks, and logs that need moved around.
3. Throw on the rear hitch and you'll have a perfectly good tow point. And if you don't get it on, come anyway, you could ride with someone else, or wheel some easy trails and make sure someone is in front of you. You'll be fine.

I dont think I'm gonna make it out to this. Heep isnt running right, had it wheeling today and it shut off a few times and wanted to die when I let off the gas. Damn Jeeps

I want to go to one of these, this one and the last one I had things to do that I couldn't get out of. Maybe the next one....

I was planning on going this day, but now I need to finish packing all my shit up and cleaning since I'm moving on the 3rd.

Gotta get the place cleaned up since I was house sitting for a buddy while in Iraq

still in... hoping the weather is nice, because I intend to sleep in the jeep or perhaps bring a hammock and sleeping bag.

Reminds me, I gotta clean the MJ bed out by the end of this week. Got way too much random crap in it right now.

I will definitely be up there as of Friday afternoon...does Bruce need any help with marking out the clearing/ cutting beforehand? I am available Saturday and would like to get out there that day as well, but I havent heard of anyone else coming up early.

I'm def in. Bringing a couple of friends too. One of them is a NAXJA member with currently a torn apart rig and another is just a good bud. Rain or shine, I'm def installing stuff in tomorrow.

Hey Rich,
If you look at RC's website, I think there is a trail cutting on 3/27 too. WHen you get there on Sat., check in with Lynn or Tommy and see what their plan is for that day.
