quote of the day thread..

Tough break for Hand Job. He was all set to get shipped out on a medical.

-What was the matter with him?

He was jerkin' off ten times a day.
--No shit. At least ten times a day.

Last week he was sent down to Da Nang to see the Navy head shrinker, and the crazy ****er starts jerking off in the waiting room. Instant Section Eight. He was just waiting for his papers to clear division.

"Soccer style kicker. Graduated from Collier High June 1976, Stetson University honors graduate class of 1980. Holds 2 NCAA Division One records; one for most points in a season, one for distance. Former nickname "The Mule." The first and only pro-athlete ever to come out of Collier County and one hell of a model American."

Re: Re: quote of the day thread..

I moved the whole family to the abandoned steel mill when we thought the zombies were coming...

what the hell were you doing over there any way, the casinos smell like old peoples broken dreams.

Lar had never been through there before. Some times you can miss some traffic if you cut through there then hit the Skyway.
But some mo fo stole the whole fricken freeway!

Seriously, are they going to rebuild it or jusy take it out all together?

What do you want me to do John? You want me to let you run out of here, see how far you can get?

-Why would you do such a foolish thing?

On the day of my judgment, when I stand before God,and He asks me why did I kill one of his true miracles, what am I gonna say? That it was my job? My job?

The horse and mule live 30 years
And never knows of wines and beers.
The goat and sheep at 20 die
Without a taste of scotch or rye.
The cow drinks water by the ton
And at 18 is mostly done.
The dog at 15 cashes in
Without the aid of rum or gin.
The modest, sober, bone-dry hen
Lays eggs for noggs and dies at 10.
But sinful, ginful, rum-soaked men
Survive three-score years and 10.
And some of us...though mighty few
Stay pickled 'til we're 92.

"We sure are pleased with those backroom boys at Dow. The original product wasn't so hot -- if the gooks [Vietnamese] were quick they could scrape it off. So the boys started adding polystyrene --- now it sticks like shit to a blanket. But then if the gooks jumped under water it stopped burning, so they started adding Willie Peter (white phosphorus) so's to make it burn better. It'll burn under water now. And just one drop is enough; it'll keep on burning right down to the bone so they die anyway from phosphorus poisoning." -http://old.studentsforbhopal.org/DirtyDow.htm

"There is nothing more dangerous, today, to a law abiding citizen than a scared cop hiding behind his badge like a security blanket then pulling his side arm for reassurance."

So nobody gets the wrong idea of what I'm saying here, I don't have an issue with LEOs. Here's the article.

I didn't watch the video, but I could tell from the screenshot it appeared to be an older cop, probably stuck in the ways he handled things 'back in the day'. Unfortunately it makes the younger generation of law enforcement look bad, especially when it hits mainstream media.

I'll make up my own spin on that quote; 'There is nothing more dangerous today to a law enforcement officer than a scared citizen that thinks they know the law and how it is applied.'

You really should watch the video. It goes into depth on how the guy wasn't doing anything illegal and was detained and ultimately arrested for nothing other than being a law abiding citizen.

I do understand your view though. It's ignorance that makes the jobs of LEOs more difficult and makes law abiding citizens feel they have more power than they do.

There was a comment the guy made saying he understands that by simply complying by giving up his firearm when he's done nothing wrong is giving up his rights and on the other hand, by standing up for what he knows is right makes him suspect.

It's a slippery slope and quite unfortunate.
