Quick exhaust question

I am still wanting to hear a hushpower 2 in line behind an I6. I am not a big fan of flowmaster, but it looks like it would tuck up really nicely and not get the crap beat out of it.

X3 on the time.. But to stay on topic. Tucking isn't always the best thing. Thats how I ended up with a jeep with flaming floors

I used to have a spin tec on my jeep. It got so hot it caught the carpet on fire. Thats with a heat shield on.

Weird.. Any idea what in that particular design caused that?

must of bin really close to the floor to cause it to burn carpet. Bet that smelled wonderful.

I don't know what is up with design. I've heard other people say they get really really hot.

And no it wasn't that close. I had a heat shield made out of an airbake pan about a half inch from the floor and another 3/4 inch between that and the muffler.

That sounds pretty good... how loud is it cruising and just daily driving?

its a bit loud but i have a stripped jeep and holes in the back for the shocks, and a turndown just before the axle. im most likely going to pipe it the rest of the way to the back.

Hey guys. Thought I would let you know, I went with a Flowmaster 40. One of my buddies was going to throw it out and asked if I wanted it. I HATE reusing exhaust parts because they are such a pain to work with, but for free, I can't complain.
