Quick exhaust question

u people get to picky about ur exhaust. It like comparing shitting in a portapotty compared to a normal toliet ur stilll doing the same shit.

Straight thru style muffler is best performance. U spend 25bucks on cherry bomb is going to sound like 25bucks which is raspy and shitty. U want good sound u pay. Go wit flowmaster or a knock off brand, or magnaflow. People that flowmaster doesnt flow well it may not whatever where talking a hp. Now if u have a 1000hp xj that every minor thing effects the hp by 20hp on a muffler then yeah. I think that is not your case or anyone i know on this forum. So pay the money on a quality muffler hook it up and enjoy that minor seat to pants that u wont even feel and enjoy the sound. Tired of exhaust threads. What sounds good? which one is better? so there solved.
 
dude, this is the second post I have read from you in about 5 minutes that makes me question if are drinking heavily or just kinda slow in the head...

i wish moderators would ban people out of the thread that make assumptions about other peoples life styles or talks off topic. But i guess people have nothing else today exept read time between posts. So back to the comment i posted about the exhaust. That ends all the talk. Dun.
 
Actually Moderators tend to frown upon the s word being tossed about in one of our open forums. Your spelling, grammar, and overall tone of your posts read like you are ADHD and/or drunk and excited.

On the original topic. I have run nothing but stock exhaust and flowmasters on my cherokees. My current cherokee exhaust consists of a Banks Header and at the collector a swage up to 3" where it flows to a 3" high flow cat and a 3" flowmaster to a turndown. I set off car alarms at idle and when accelerating it screams. It tends to drone a lot on the highway though and my ears ring for a few hours after long trips.

I wish people that are not paying members would not worry about a paying member calling them out. You seem like an ok dude and your rig is nice but you don't have to be an ass! You know why we are picky about our exhaust? Well for one most of ours have the stock motor or a stroker. You have a 350 which has oh about a bazillion different options. I want something that sounds good and is mellow since i drive it everyday and I also don't want some cheap ass glasspack on my rig. I settled with the dynomax cat back and I am happy with it.

U guys arent worth my time.


its pretty mild. Loud under throttle but cruising at 60mph at 2grand it sound almost as quiet as stock but throaty. It only gets loud under part throttle around 3grand. Plus the cat is modified.

well I am glad we are in agreement about the time situation.



I am still wanting to hear a hushpower 2 in line behind an I6. I am not a big fan of flowmaster, but it looks like it would tuck up really nicely and not get the crap beat out of it.
