piece of mind

What gets frustrating is that most of the people who ask the same ol questions we see hundreds of times don't put any effort into searching for the answer. The only effort is asking the question, and then they just expect someone to provide the information. Why should anyone want to help someone who refuses to put even a little effort into it? Of course, this isn't aimed at everyone, but it's fairly easy to recognize when someone does it.

I prefer not to support or enable laziness and/or the unwillingness of some people to help themselves. It doesn't take a great deal of "smarts" to figure this out. If we can get people to search for themselves, everyone benefits. If they can't find it from a forum serach, then ask the question. It's that simple.

I once was a newby, and although I have not posted all that much, I have spend countless hours researching my jeep. I started with a jeep over 5 years ago. Although, I have been messin with jeeps for a while now I still find myself sitting in front of my computer reading articles about jeeps for hours at a time. Pros, Cons, Dos, and Don'ts and everything in between can be found but it just takes time. I don't ask questions that much because I'm not worried about finding my question right away, but all the other things that I might find out on the way. Back to the point, questions should be thought out and answers should be discussed not handed out like a wopper at Burger King.....
