Why does this constantly come up? If folks want to join, they will. If folks want to let their membership lapse, they will. If folks don't want to join, they won't. Let it be. There's more than enough money in your treasury these days.

by all means i am not asking for free membership. i dont mind helping people who need it. if i can provide some help to all of you that wont patronize the dealer and would rather hang parts on your jeep then you should be greatful.in all esence i dont really benefit from this site, just some friendly contributions. if you dont want the advice, put me on you ignore list and have a nice day.

It'll always come up from time to time and the answer is always the same...

keeps things going on for the XJ and MJ community. Besides keeping the lights on here in our club website, over 1/3 of Member dues are donated to UFWDA www.ufwda.org, and other groups who support responsible recreation. We're currently at 600 +- Members out of 6000 -+ forum users.We have eight Chapters covering some of the US.

Not everyone will find value in events or our website. Those who do I encourage to join and/or renew and get involved at your local level.

Why do you visit these forums? I assume that if your not here for tech help, you enjoy helping others, and perhaps enjoy reading the non-tech forums. is providing this place where you enjoy spending your time. Isn't that service worth somthing?

the reason i visit these other forums is to see if there is any other questions with other jeep models that i may be able to answer.

Diddo what the rev said, Jneary has been nothing but help to me and when someone gives me the wrong advice he's always there. Got your back 100%.

if i got something from this i would have no problem paying for it. why should i pay to tell people how to fix their jeep. i dont pay regular customers to work on their jeeps

i dont 4 wheel at all. i take pretty good care of my jeep and it doesnt get abused. thats why it lasts. maybe i will start my own web site and can charge for tech assistance, kinda like napster. i can call it jeepster. and depending on who you are or what your problem , i can determine if i want to charge you or not.

this post makes 900 for me, but i do want to join its just that i couldnt afford it even if it was only 20$.
i would also be more inclined if i ever had a chance to participate in a local thing, but the southeast chapter which louisiana falls into is mostly east coast folk. not trying to make excuses, just stating
