Lets see...don't 4 wheel anymore, don't actually even drive my 2wd XJ (my daughter does), can't afford it, and am not really someone into joining a lot of things.
Telling me to stop something (sodas, smoking, drinking, etc.) for a bit to save for it wont work either. For one, I don't do much of that stuff. Any money I save goes to bills, bills, ex-wife, bills, ex-wife, five kids, ex-wife, bills.
I could add the attitudes of a few members are slightly offsetting but I can ignore them. Heck, some of it might even be their version of humor which I don't catch since I don't know them well enough. If membership was so important to y'all then you would make the entire place a member only area. However the non-member areas do work excellent for recruiting so I can see why you don't.
I would still offer to help any local to me but then you aint getting much! I've got the service manuals, some knowledge from a few things done, some old barely remembered knowledge from days gone by, next to no tools and little or no time. Oh and no stenkin' $$$.
