Oil leak again

Ok so in the first picture the one hose has all the oil in it and is kinked right at the PCV elbow. This is all the PO doing. The second picture is also what he had done to it and there is no oil and its not clogged.

Ecomike I don't think that is the problem... it appears you are missing two cylinders... might want to check on that.

LOL, good eye there, I was just Googling for a photo with the inside view showing the down spout ports (or what ever Jeep calls them?). I call them a mistake, :D LOL.

Also make sure there is NOT a PCV valve in either line or the valve cover, Jeep does not use a PCV valve, just CCV sized tubing and an always open orifice in the rear, about 2.2 (or 2.6? I think they made it larger after 1987) mm IIRC.

Well went to O'Reillys and it called for a PCV elbow. But that is the only thing I can think of that might cause some of my problem but not sure. But the one on the rear of the VC is fine no clogs or oil in it but the front one is the messed up one causing my air filter to be covered in oil.

The plastic fitting at the rear of the valve cover has an orifice in it. You would be doing your engine a favor to replace the grommet, fitting and that cobbled up cccv tube.
Buck up and buy your parts from the dealer. The chances are higher you will get the correct parts.

The one in front is dumping oil because the one in back is not doing it's job, -or- your engine has so much blow-by the tube in back can't handle it.

Got ya, Aftermarket people and firms use the wrong name (non OEM) all the time, and we need to know the wrong names too, LOL. Hell I call stuff a thingamabob sometimes, LOL.:laugh3:

Somebody had the elbow with the orifice in the front and rear recently, and IIRC it was doing weird stuff too. Make sure the elbow with the orifice is in the rear and not the front, and fix the bent tube issue, and fix any vacuum leaks in the rear tube line assy.

With the engine moving during accleration that tube gets yanked on, it may be totally closed at the worst time!!
