Yes, it was a set of three O-rings in a plastic bag.

While you are researching, you should read his O2 sensor change thread also. Don't be a bimmerjeeper, do some research, and enlighten yourself.

Warning: Do not start reading that thread unless you have extra time on your hands. It will suck you right in.

I had a shop weld (pre-welder days) 3/4" nut on to the back of the socket. haven't used it yet, but it should work

Well the adapter came off rather easily, contrary to every other thread I've read lol.



Should this be reinstalled with red, or any loctite?

Never mind, I put the adapter on without any loctite. Apparently I must have used my spare oil filter so now I play the waiting game for a leak test until tomorrow.
