Like the title, I'll be heading to Walker with a buddy on new years day. This has been a tradition of ours for about 5 years, only at Reiter. We always seem to run into interesting people on the trails, most likely remaining from the night before:wow:. I'm locked front and rear with 33's (xj) and my buddy is open/open on 33's (TJ).

Be at the staging area at 10:30 hopefully aired down, disconnected, and ready to go.

Minimum operator requirements are:
BAC under .08 :skull1:
Generally good attitude, hung over is ok.

Minimum rig requirements are:
Any reliable 4X4.
Tow points front and rear.
MT, AT tires are preferred, Mud and Snow rated tires will work.
Spare tire your willing to drive home on.

Minimum equipment:
Tow strap without hooks.
Tools.
Spare u-joints and u-joint straps. If you have a D35 please go to Pull-A-Part and get spare shafts.

I'm a maybe. I'll have to check but I'm pretty sure I have the first off. Maybe we won't get lost this time toward the end. :)

Hey we didn't get lost we were just exploring the logging road. Think I'm going to drag my dad with me for this trip.

I hope he likes snow, from what I've heard theres some on the ground up that way.

Nice! Gotta love that, unless you need the money...

Is this the "cute" TJ that I have wheeled with in the past?

-Alex

:D You should come and motivate him towards the skinny pedal again.

Nah, I rarely NEED the money...it just helps fund the hobbies. I should have plenty to pay for gas by New Years. :)

I should be there.
I may not have my Jeep done (not sure yet) so if there was a spare seat I would love to join you guys!

Michael I might have room in my rig...Ill know when I get back from vacation a few days prior though. It certainly would be nice to have your expertice to lead us though...what you need to do to your rig?

Please join us! We could have used you last time. I have a buddy coming along for this run and I can't ask him to sit in the back because he's a big SOB, although it would be fun to watch. You know how comfy the back seats are. I'll ask Mick if he has room and report back, but you'd be riding in a cute TJ.

I did get a bunch of work done on the Jeep today, so it is looking more likely that I can actually have my Jeep done for this run. I am not holding my breath, but it is looking more promissing than it did last week

What needs to happen? I can make arrangements to head your way for a bit to pound it out. I technically CAN take you, I don't have any passengers set in stone...but there has been talk of taking one of my siblings or a friend while they're in town. :dunno:
