After finally using this site for all my answers, I've decided to become a paying member. Just wanted to say hi to everyone, this site helped me build my XJ (just a 3" lift). I live in northeastern Illinois and can't wait to start wheeling. Complete noob but caught the fever. Thanks for all the info and can't wait to meet everyone

I'd love to come down but I'm working, plus I don't exactly have a drivers license right now. Apparently Illinois doesn't take too kindly to wrecking a truck in Wisconsin while you're under the influence. I guess one of my buds could drive me down, but I've still got to work, also Menards pays more on the weekends. When's the next meet-n-greet?

I know where Beach Park is, I used to live in Winthrop Harbor. Your situation sounds like one, of a kid I used to know.

I was in the Navy and went to boot in Great Lakes. I know where Beach Park is too. Although I was there long BEFORE you were even born.
