I've been kicking around this place learning everything I could for long enough that I figured it's time to pony up and pay.

The Jeep's been in my family since new. My grandfather originally bought it in new hampshire as a work truck on his airport. He'd plow, haul, tow, whatever he needed.

After that - it was parked in the woods for 5 years or so, before my cousin hauled it out, replaced a lot of the rust underneath, and took it to california.

He moved to Africa a couple years later, and I needed a car at the time, so I came to own my first Jeep.

Future plans include: 1.5" budget lift, SYE, control arm drop brackets, 33's, adjustable uppers, more armor.

Nice man. Glad to see that the jeep wasn't left for dead in the woods!

Your future plans look well thought out, although 33's on the stock drivetrain is gonna make the jeep hate you.

Next of the list of mod's are 4.56's, aussie for the d30 up front, and a LSD for the 8.25 out back.
I know the 33's will hurt for a while, but one step at a time...

The front wheels have 3/8" spacers that I had laying around... no rubbing issues until it's really flexed out.

that is a sharp xj! its great to hear about one getting reserructed like that! given a second life!

I also plan on doing the 1-1.5 inch spacers, trimming and getting 33s.

Good Eye Higgs.
I went out there with the crew from beltway jeepers.

It was my first time on salt shed.. definitely a good time.. Nothing too challenging, no worries about breaking..
