Need prayer

My daughter, Olivia Ruth Nevins was born this Sunday very early at 12:49am, 7/29. She is 15 weeks premature, only 25 weeks spent developing. There were many problems with the pregnancy, necessitating the very early c-section. As can be expected she still is having many problems. Her battle right now is her heart. The doctors will be doing an ultrasound today to examine it and find out if its the cause of her super-low blood pressure. She's on a ventilator to help her breathe and all kinds of medicines. Morphine, Dopamine and Epinephrine that I can recall. For those who've had experience with Epinephrine, its the same stuff used in the Marine Corps to "jump start" a fallen Marine's heart in the event of a biological attack. She's on a constant drip and her heart is still running too weak.
So, she needs prayers, lots of prayers to make it.

On a related sidenote, if anyone has a minivan or large sedan/wagon they feel like donating to the cause...When she comes home we'll have 3 car seats to fit and neither my XJ nor the wife's Focus will fit them. :)

You got a couple headin your way. Sorry to hear bro... I hope everything goes well, keep us posted man.

your daughter will be in our prayers and thoughts.

for the car seat situation, make the center car seat rear facing and the two others forward facing...sometimes that helps get them to fit.

sorry to hear, my youngest went through major medical difficulties as a baby, and were still dealing with it, stay strong, your in our prayers......//Kevin

best wishes our thougths are with you.

Almost same EXACT thing just happened to our neighbor, emergency C-Section, 9 weeks early, 3 lbs 2 oz at birth. I'm very happy to report that yesterday she was able to come home at a much healthier 4 lbs 7 oz, so keep the faith brother, these things tend to work out :).

I got you all on our church's prayer chain, and in Borrego Springs that will have you with over 100 people praying for you and you baby.
These ladies are kinda' egotistical, they do require that the baby get a tatoo that says 'saved by the grace of God' ...

:D

My thoughts are with you man. Hang in there.

Many prayers your way...

Prayer in numbers work. Ya got one more.

Man, all the best with everything. It put a lump in throat just reading about her. My prayers go out to you and your family.

I really appreciate all the support guys, unfortunately, she didn't make it. Last night around 1130 her heart stopped. The doctor spent over an hour doing manual chest compressions on her and she never came back. Her heart was just too weak. Now comes the planning for a service and such.
