how many of you needed to add to the LCA shims after a 4.5 lift ?

Gonna check my toe in tonight after I get home, but dread the thought of having to do much else.

Just wondering from past experience who has done it...since the alignment guy recomended a drop pitman arm and I know many of you haven't had to do it.

went in...guy recommended a dropped pitman arm to start with...they really didn't want to do it....tires are wearing from about halfway in to the outside hard.

You'd think they'd want to take the $$.

Gonna look at the toe in tonight or in the morning.

I shimmed the crap outta mine. I was trying to get it as positive as possible. 6'' lift btw. I only left it like that for a month or so then I recieved my longarms.

You sure your tire wear isn't from out of spec + camber?

gonna find out friday...and gonna collect some spare factory shims tomorrow.

being a total of 3.2* out on your toe can really F with your tires....

FYI- Caster will NEVER cause a tire wear problem. Pulling and sorry steering yes, but never tire wear problems.
