Due to some very cool connections that one of our members has to a local junkyard, we have been given SOLE access to a junkyard that is loaded with approx. 50-70 Jeep Cherokees that were CFC Jeeps. These Jeeps range in age from 87-01, and MOST have not even been touched!! Very few show ANY body damage at all, and most of them look like they would clean right up with a wash/wax!! In addition to the XJ's in this yard, there are approx. 40-50 Grand Cherokees too. Most are ZJ's but there are about 10 WJ's too. Keep in mind that THE ENGINES ARE ALL SEIZED, and there will be no rolling chassis available, just parts, and LOTS of them...
SOOO.... here is what we have set up....
On Saturday April 24th, the NAC is going to have a Meet and Greet at this junkyard for members only, and basically have a HUGE parts-picking party!!! There will be burgers, Hot Dogs (and some other picnic-type foods), and soda too. This is for members with RED screen names only....
For Saturday (4/24) the junkyard opens at 8am, so PLEASE try to be there shortly after 8, NOT BEFORE...
On Sunday April 25th, the Meet and Greet will continue. The junkyard will be open to any and all folks (both members and non-members alike) that want to pick over these Jeeps. No BBQ or anything like that (and some of these Jeeps may be SERIOUSLY stripped by then), but I want to bring in as much business as I can for the junkyard, so we found it neccessary to do this over two days.
For Sunday (4/25), the junkyard opens at 9am, so PLEASE try to be there shortly after 9, NOT BEFORE...
The address is:
Shortys U-Pull-It
529 Flint Hill Rd
King of Prussia, Pa. 19406
This address is the MAIN Shortys U-Pull-It junkyard, the yard where all of the Cherokees are in is separate from this junkyard. It is just on the next block just north of Shortys U-Pull-It. Look for the MJ and other XJ's, it SHOULD be obvious...
Here are a few pics of what awaits us...

These Jeeps are stored in a locked yard, and it is not open to the public. Some parts are missing from a few Jeeps, but most are complete down to the spare tires in the back. In my discussions with the junkyard, there will be dicounted pricing as well. I have not gotten any specifics yet, but he gave me a few examples and the pricing should be reasonable.
These Jeeps are all slated to be crushed by mid-June, so lets see if we can at least strip as much off as we can and let PARTS of these Jeeps live on...
