My stroker thread..pics

That was $200 total. The 802 pistons (~$25 each) and the moly rings($70) means that with my bro's 20% discount that they'll be less than $200. Even when he checked the system, there were not many sets(6 or more of whatever over size, thus confirming the national backorder on them) available of the h802cps, h825cps, and 677cps. The 825s were more expensive($10 more than 802s), but you could get the basic rings for $40. The dish size of the 677cps are 17.5cc and do have the coated skirt, but are not hyperteutic. I still don't know who to believe on the dish size of the h802cps. Dino has it listed as 15.1, another site that I can't find now listed it as 15.8, and someone just posted that magazine article here that said they were 17.5(I'm hoping it's this). Anyhow I was giving the compressor and my ears a break after an hour plus of non-stop die-grinding.

Slight roadblock: as of the end of March I will be without work. The company I work for will no longer be in business in West Palm. Because Im retarded and have little saved, the stroker will be put on hold until I can regain a steady incoming flow of cash. Real lame since I have 85% of the parts paid for and sitting underneath my bed.

Humongo updates:
Engine pulled
dissasembled
dropped off at machine shop(will end up costing $1667!) Ill try to have final prices, parts lists and a work performed list up in the near future.
I have all the parts, except for the cam which Isky should finally get around to grinding one with the right specs after 4 months of picking their noses. Im hoping to have the engine running by the end of July. As part of assembling the long block for me, the shop will also be painting the engine any color of my choosing. My thoughts are, Hemi Orange, an old AMC light bluish color, Silver or the stock black again. Input desired...

Plum purple is very sexy on an engine.

That is quite attractive (in its own way, like if it matches the color scheme of the car) but I went with Chrysler Hemi Orange and oh does it look sweet. The valve cover is black still, the head block and oil pan are all orange. Ill get picks up soon

I saw a nice forest green block at the Grand Prix this past weekend. I was in too much of a hurry to get mine done with my bro home that I didn't get around to painting it(he banged the bejesus out of the oil pan to get the girdle and hi-volume pump to fit anyways so any color other than black would bring out all the dents).
