yeah. when i go over for final welding i'm gona clean up the whole thing.
It looks like it! But the 2x4 is really thick walled compared to the 2x2.Newb ? since I'm not experienced enough to tell... Is that 2x4 and 2x2 tubing you are using?

As you already siad your gona beef up the mounting brackets and the d ring tabs. So once thats done it'll be pretty good. BRAVO
looks good, but here is some thoughtful advice, take it as you may.
if all you have are stock mounts for now, fine. when you can get some plate too make proper frame mounts (further back for more bolts) than simply drill a few more holes in what you have now and use the 3 stock plus 2 more to attack the frame plates to both the frame and the bumper.
My frame plates stay on the frame, but my bumper is bolted to it with 5 bolts per side, makes for easier removal when I want to work on the front end. no need to remove the plates, which means no steering box problems.
