The bds seem like a great buy.. I'll be getting those very soon. My re packs have had 3 years and recently added a stock main to the pack. Still a bit saggy.
could get another set of cheap 3.5" leaves and add a extra main leaf and a traction bar....
or you could link it for all that money...
What if he just links the passenger side and leaves on the driver side ? Would you still need a trackbar

A lot more than money for parts goes into linking the rear. Tons of fab. Leafs will get it done imo and requires almost no fab. Done deal. Ill be interested in what you go with kev. Im in the same boat right now shopping for 3.5" leafs. Im looking at iro and bds. I think they both have lifetime warranties.
cheap leaves aren't good and good leaves aren't cheap.
Bust out the credit card.
I've talked to National in the past. Okay it was like 10 years ago... Anyway, they were in the same price range as Deaver at the time. They were also wanting my Jeep there to make sure they made the proper lift, spring rate, etc, etc...because they didn't make off the shelf XJ leafs. Like I said though, that was quite awhile ago.
Go 25%-75% of the lower is ideal.
What sprigs did you end up going with??
That doesn't sound right... 75% makes sense but down to 25% seems a bit drastic lol
Changing topic a little bit -- for those of you running front 3 link suspensions, how long is your upper link in relation to your lower? Shorter? Longer? Equal? Did you choose to go after keeping the caster the same as it cycles, or did you try to keep the pinion pointed at the t-case? Which was more important to you?
Lou, who did you purchase through for your BDS springs? Or if it was just a coupon code, where did you find it?
