My Green Machine Blog

Alright, So I found some time last weekend and went and picked up a Ruffstuff rear diff cover. Today I installed it...its beautiful I must say. Its the first major upgrade that I've done to it. It had an Apple diff cover on it (I'll post pics soon) but I figured I ought to go big. A whopping 7/16'' wall of protection will suffice, plus it'll match the Frog. The only exception is I got the cover without countersunk holes.
All this and I still haven't taken it out...errrg

Here's some install pics:

HA, no need, it's visible in the first picture, I think you should take a pic of how much you made the branch droop, you practically killed it due to the weight.

I thought the truetrac was a LS unit?

It is limited slip

So I found some more time and installed the Frog's old engine skid on The Green Machine, here's some pics:

I forgot to take a before pic, but this is the first step in tapping the holes:

How would A10 teeth painted on the skid look?

I might mess around in photoshop to see what it might look like
No I haven't changed the locker, I just misread when I looked up the locker online, good to know that it's a no-slip

That looks mean, dang. I might just have to do that now...

Yeah. Do it right.

Layer of black... red lower half with a tongue, then white teeth over the top. Then clear coat!

That really looks neat, why'd you take it off?

It hangs pretty low.

Its kinda silly, so I only put it on during halloween. Plus who wants to actually use it?

Kev, check your left LCA at the drop bracket. I just noticed that it looks cracked right near the weld. You need to see if it is just the power coat, or cracked all the way through.

Just a scratch, we're gooooood
