My 44/9" full width cherokee build

I believe its the earlier bronco D44's that have a larger pinion than the D30. I can't remember exactly, that might be incorrect.

My front 44 was the same pinion size as my 30.

I have a question about the spotlight- did you have any difficulty when drilling through the A pillar? I've got a set to install on my XJ and I have the paper template from Unity but I haven't taken the time to actually drill yet..

you werent kidding those flares look 100% better. FWIW Kev and I just took the railroad crossing by west bountiful park going 45 eastbound... Yeah it was smooth ;)

My advise is to take your time, remove the plastic inside so you can see where you're drilling and be careful not to kill any wiring that runs up the A pillar, but it was pretty easy, I had to step up drill sizes till I got to the right size.

haha ya it looks good! we'll have to wheel if you ever come down again

I should be in St. George for the Utah4x4club Spring Crawl April 24th and 25th

Thanks man, So I guess you got those FOA's charged?

this thread has inspired me to do the same swap myself! thanks for the awesome work!
Thanks man

Thats some nice flex. Are your shocks the limiting factor on the flex? Any thoughts on limiting straps so the spring doesnt unseat so much?

I think in that shot the center strap is limiting and I extended the bumpstop tongues about 4", but occasionally the shock are probably the limits. I think that's a great idea to use limit straps at each side and I'd like to do it (when I can find another $55).

I mounted my new Marsh Racing Beadlocks tonight!
I believe they are 15"x10"x3.75"bs
I color matched the beadlock rings to the body color; I think the color contrast looks cool!
We'll see if I need to use bead sealer after they sit overnight, and I still need to re-torque the bolts again, it took forever to do it the first time. Thank goodness I had Chris help me (thanks dude)

Thats a pretty bad looking rig, dude.
Bad in this case meaning "good".
You know what I mean...

Where does your center limit strap attach on the frame end? Do you just have the one strap in the center? I think I remember you saying you had it limited to about 3" of axle droop...is that right?

I have a strap on each axle end to limit articulation, but they don't do enough to limit over all droop and unloading on climbs.

Ya just one center strap, it's mounted to the passenger motor mount bolt. When the axle droops the trackbar limits it on the other side to about 3-4" of droop. I got the idea from Carl at Teraflex.
