and the rumor is its being called a Cherokee. i am truly offended. and it looks like an Asian guy who is eating a lemon.

why cant they just make a boxy shaped 4x4 wagon with a factory lift, and use the rubicon running gear and a nice factory stroker and call THAT a Cherokee.

not like there isnt enough aftermarket parts to build it

The only thing that bothered me at first was the bastardization of the nameplate. The Liberty has been a Cherokee in Europe since 2001. The Liberty was maligned here also with the death of the Cherokee, but some people have turned them into capable off-roaders.

I never liked the look of the Patriot or Compass either, but didn't stop me from being passionate about the Jeep brand. I don't like the look of this one either, but since I am not in the market for one, I'm not letting it bother me that much.
