Mosin nagant websites?

Why does anyone NEED an assault rifle?

The best mod would be to melt them all down!

Typical Chicago Libtard.......:D

AR-15 doesn't allow free emails... that's retarded.

More than likely, it's to prevent forum spam posts. It does have some use, but only if they don't have any other anti-spam countermeasures.

It's a rifle you twat. :twak:
The 2nd Ammendment doesn't say anything about a citizen's right to keep and bear arms except for the ones that don't appeal to you. Stop falling to the liberal rhetoric about who needs what before you loose all of our Constitutional rights for us. Keep going with thinking like that and we'll all be driving gov't supplied Volts. Try and wheel then!

And by the way, while you are looking up the Constitution for a little educational reading, open a dictionary and discover the difference between "need" and "right". :patriot:

You'll only go to hell if you mess with an M44. I want to do a 91/30 with a modern scope mounted on top. My M44 is staying the way it is and if I find more for cheap i'll buy them. Those are hard to come by around here but 91/30's are everywhere.

Ah crap, so does a turn-down bolt count? Even if I kept the original?

Save me Naxjesus!

you can buy just the back half of the bolt body with a new handle welded on. I've not seen too many people have luck with the drilled and tapped ones. Sometimes a mosin will get so stuck that you literally have to kick open the action with your boot. not sure a drilled and tapped handle is going to be up to that.

Sticky bolt syndrome, clean your rifle. I suggest a few boiling water cleanings to remove all traces of cosmoline.

it took soldering a spent case to a rod, some lapping compound and a power drill to fix dad's.

no amount of cleaning was getting that crap out of the chamber.

Well I'm at the point of no return.
My friend bought a bent bolt handle for 60$ +shipping. I thought that was nuts on a 70$ rifle so I did what any sane bubba would do. I went and bought 3 feet of steel for 3$ torched and bent it and cutup my bolt.

The bottom bolt is my friends it's way too high and almost hits his tall scope mount. Additionally they solder the bolt on instead of welding.

My next project is a scope mount. Scope mounts for these things are usually very poorly designed. There's one good one I know ofbut you have to drill and tap your barrel.
My friend purchased this one, it cost him 100$.
I have a few issues with this one the price is nuts, two there's only 1/16th or so surface area actually touching the barrel and three it's an inch tall leaving you chin to stocking instead of cheek to stock.
For the price I'd like to see the mount at least shaped so it contacts the the barrel.

I payed a total of 12$ for the material to make one and just need rail pieces(7$) to make 5 or so more with my material.

Note: those legs going down are about 1/4" wide and no where near entirely contact it the photo is deceiving.

I'll post up when I finish making my rifle ugly as hell.

Just get the PU style scope mount man, you can get it with 1" rings even; it's the only good way to do it.

Also fits perfectly with the bolt handle your buddy has (although mine is a genuine sniper bolt).

(No, I don't have any photos of the bolt open, but there's clearance, I've never been concerned when cycling it and the longer handle makes it easier to manipulate that crude bolt.)

Pu is cool for those that want to be authentic I just want something that works real well and I want to be able to make it myself.

Yup it's just strapped on but it's sturdy and I bet with more contact it will be even better.
