I gotta KEEP my ass moving. I've still got quite a bit I need to get done. I have the time.. it's the cash part that's giving me a hard time. I updated the todo list on my site in the [whats new] section.

No one ever said anything about there being possible air guitar on this trip. I might have to put down the fly rod and shuffle some things around to try and shoe horn Moab into my shedule. :guitar:

I've already mentally checked out. How's your rig coming along Justin?

I organized and packed the camping gear last weekend.. Just a couple finishing touches to the cage and I am ready to rock. Headed out the 30th to do some sightseeing before everyone gets there.
 
Hey guys, is this an "open" group run? I'm thinking about going and meeting all you guys, and it probably would be good to go before Moab turns to 100+ degrees. It's a short drive for me, only takes 3 hours. If I did come out there it would be Thursday night or Friday - Sunday.
 
Sorry guys, I'm not gonna make it. Too many expenses have come up. I haven't been able to work on the Heep and it still needs emissions before I can get the plates renewed. At this rate, I may be web-wheeling for the year. :flamemad:
 
I still have to finish the trailer, put the shocks on the tow rig, replace a leaf in the springs on the XJ. Should be an interesting week.

As it turns out, the wife will not be coming so I will be tenting it. Is there still room? Do I need to send some $$$ for the site?

I've been tossing around the idea of pussing out as usual...but i really can't justify.

Pros:
1) Mom & Dad are going with the my old TJ (and have a free room for me)
2) I really need to get away for a few days I have been working my tail off
3) Wife and kids are not coming
4) The poor XJ was last wheeled and Co-Fest...by the wife
5) drive Led crazy all weekend
6) I have some time tomorrow afternoon to handle 3 and 4 on the Con list


Cons:
1) Mom & Dad are going (kidding)
2) Wife and kids are not coming
3) Leak at the down part of the water pump, right at the hose. Could be just the hose, but still a PITA to drain and fill(do I have a Home Depot bucket around here?)
4) rear locker is still slipping. I need to pull the rear cover AGAIN and locktight the nut on the actuator. PITA
5) pack my stuff
6) find the money for gas and Jack D
