My brother is bringing a couple of his homebrews. I believe one or two of them are in the tap-a-draft system. Cheap alternative to kegging from the sounds of it. I'm excited to see that setup.

Not a problem at all. It is basically a igloo cooler with a cold plate at the bottom of the cooler. It has two taps plumbed into the front of it, with two keg taps running out the back and a CO2 regulator. Worked well when I used it for weddings last summer.

Probably won't work with my 5-gallon soda kegs without changing fittings around. I don't think we'll have to worry about the beer being cold, anyway...

That's true it may not, it has the same fittings as a normal 1/2 keg would have so it may not work out. But its in the back of the truck either way, so if it works it works, if not it's not a big deal.

I'm pretty sure that John's kegs are Corny ball locks. If you were serving commercially available beer, you've probably got Sanke couplers. Just gotta swap fittings on the end of the liquid tubing, assuming that's the right diameter.
