I opted for the lower k for the brighter output in light. They look semi blue, but that's cause it's a cell phone picture, AND they weren't really all that warmed up. They turn a super white after they're warmed up. These are bi-xenon hi/lo.
I'll get some pictures at night though and show the difference.

These are the bi-xenon kit HID's. They sell two different kinds as you know, one have two bulbs, and HID bulb and a normal halogen bulb for the high beam. Which is NOT what I wanted. The others, the ones I have, are what they call a bi-xenon which actually has a motor/spring assembly in the bulb assembly. It tilts and retracts the bulb to position it where the normal high beam filiment would be. This is also why I bought these, it's a nice thing to be able to keep the light out of someone's face, and also bright light someone back if they think you're high beaming themsilverslk said:I have been trying to decide on 4300 vs 5000k. Which high/low kit did you go with? They have two different ones. One has a sliding mechanism and the other has a ghey little extra bulb. If I do it I will use the one with the sliding deal as it should help keep the bulb focused in the proper part of the reflector. Most generic kits light up the whole housing due to improper bulb placement and always have a BAD GLARE. :soapbox:
