Hey everybody, I'm still new to the E. Sierra/N. NV area and I am looking for a local Jeep Club/4x4 org. to join. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks for any suggestions.

ya we are pretty much a club, sorta , kinda.
These guys have some nice folks - http://www.hi-landers.com/
They are very involved with http://cal4wheel.com/ and I'm sure if you read the 4 x 4 mags you will recognize a few of their members. One of their members is a photographer/author of some note. Here - http://www.overlandjournal.com/newsletter/2011_03/chris_collard/
Or you could always have us! We do on occassion push back from the keyboard and "get out there". See my invite thread for June 22nd.

Thanks for the info. I have been a payed member for about a year now haven't been on any runs with 
yet, too many other commitments (Marine Corps) so I was looking for other possibly more judicious opportunity to wheel. I will eventually make a run and I love hanging out on the forum . I browse almost every night.
