I will be there. I finally got the ok from the BOSS woman. I believe scott will also be up for it. I talked to him a few days ago about it and he was up for it.

I have no idea about who I will have with me but it will be a day trip for me and I do not know if I will have any passengers or not with me yet. With kids I never know till the last minute

I am coming from the North and we can meet up just about anywhere you want. I will take I-5 down to 18? and down 167 and on 410 over to Buckly. I used to go all the way down 167 and it seems to take longer for me.

It has been a while since I have been there and I am sure things have changed but I have yet to do all of the trails and I have been there at least a hand full of times. Can it really have gotten that much easier?

I thought some of this group was staying Sat night and wheeling Sunday morning as well? I think Phil also wanted to wheel on Sunday?

I will just be there for the festivities on Sat, but would like to make it as much as a full day as possible!!

So I found going up I5 to an unlabeled section of freeway to 410 and I'm lost from there.

Can I get some help. Thanks

REI, GI Joe's, and there's a little store on the way up there that sells them. You're looking for either a temporary or annual NW Forest Pass. For those who visit multiple parks throughout the year, a Golden Eagle Pass will work also...and runs like $55. Works on any of the National Parks, BLM, etc.

You can purchase the NW forest pass in a little store in Wilkeson.

After going through Wilkeson it is about 15-20 minutes on the right. There should be a sign for Evans Creek ORV Park. After that right turn it is a very long gravel road to the main bottom parking lot.

Personally I believe we should all meet in Buckley. That way no matter where you are coming from is convenient and we can gather the group to decide if we are splitting up or not and who is going on what trails.

What are we thinking 10:00am in Buckley?
In front of the Safeway (I think it is Safeway that is right off of 410 on the south side of the street?

I usually stop at the Safeway in Buckley to gas up and beer up. 10:00 am Saturday is exactly what I was thinking. It's on the right side of Hwy 410 just before it goes from 4 lanes to 2. Can't miss it.
