DON'T DO IT. Save your pennies and get a car with HP/speed. An S2000 is a street bike with a seat belt. Just get one of those.

A week or two in ICU fighting for my life, multiple surgeries, very lasting injuries (I could barely walk this morning because of the pain) all because a lady did an illegal 3 point turn on a highway, after being parked on the shoulder, while talking on the phone.

Are those Viper rims stock with the red lip?
That's not good. I had a similar thing happen with me but I got hit by a car that ran a red light spent a few weeks in ICU, had to learn how to walk again. The reason for my medical discharge from the Marines. Glad your still alive iI had also lost a few friends due to bike accidents.

That should be fun! I am running a C4 behind mine... it lasted a while but then I blew 2nd gear out of it. haha. It even has good the good TCI servo and valvebody, so??? Anyway, thats going to be a cool car when you are done.

Yeah I went through that with my 88 GT. My old race car had a Powerglide in it this one is a street car.

alright i suppose its time for me to finally chime in.

The Jeep. traded a 300$ acura integra sraight across for it. my cousin's got a couple stock pics of it but they're in oregon.

almost forgot my first jeep.

3.5" with the 32x9.50 TSL's, 2.5L iron duke and 5spd. 373 gears. using the carrier in my current jeep. blew the engine on the way to work one day. went through 2 or 3 quarts of oil on the way home.

was like an airplane getting inside. had to gut all of the wiring and vacuum and used only toggle switches to make it run.

2 or 3 on the dash, button for starter and 5 toggle switches down on the shifter console. lol

its a 2005 Unlimited Sahara Rubicon, 6spd, 6.5" nth* long arm lift, full skids, even underneath the diffs and protecting the yokes, locker override switch mod Wilderness swing away rear bumper with cooler rack and he used the jerry can brackets to fab a Co2 bottle mount. NightKrawler front bumper, warn winch, auxiliary CB, etc, mount fabbed between the windsheild and roll bar, made from wheel chair and walker parts.

the wheels are steel 15x14 and the tires are rear sprint car tires.

he's got a set of the smaller ones too but likes running the larger ones better.

Old rides huh...hmm...well I only have 1 worth mentioning that wasn't a jeep and that was my tow rig.
2004 dodge 3500 SRW quad cab. Cummins, 6 spd, decked. 18 MPG city 22 hwy and towing it still got 16 MPG with 10K behind me. STOOPIDLY lost it in a divorce.

Now from the get go:

My first jeep: 1985 XJ 4 bngr (1 bbl carb) 4 spd 2wd. Could not drive it more than 15 minutes without overheating...but I was 18 and it got me to work....and if I was at work long enough...back home too.

Then I had a '99 XJ sport 2wd. Did a 4" lift with 31's.

1997 TJ. 2" lift, tubed front end (WAY before tubed fenders were sold) with 4.88's and 33's.

1998 XJ 3" RE lift, 31's chopped fender, roofrack, winch

1986 MJ. 4 bngr 5 spd. SOA rear with leaves up front. About 8" lift total. HP-44/9" full detroits with 35X15's. It went to the Crawl in 2005.

1998 XJ sport. D-44's F/R with 4.88's and full spools. 6" lift on 33's. it went to the Crawl in 2006.

1999 XJ SE 2 dr 2wd 4 bngr 5 spd. DD

1998 XJ sport 2wd 5 spd. DD (for a couple months only)

1991 MJ pioneer. 4.0L AW4 231 LWB. NICE truck...only had 96K on it when I got it. 2" lift and 31's.

1992 YJ AMC 360 727 208 with D-44's F/R on 35's Never got to drive it but I owned and worked on it for several months.

1997 TJ 4 bngr 5 spd. HP-30/D-44 F/R with 4.88's and 33's locked and 4" lift. Called it the ALBATROSS as I had to drop nearly $2500 into it in the first month...got it from a supposed reputable person on another board. I traded this away for my current CJ-5...the guy I traded with got a hell of a deal as did I since I LOVE my 5.

1960 CJ-6. Bought it as a resto and never did it. Sold it for what I paid though.

1985 J-10. 8-10" lift, D-44 F D-60 R 5.38's spooled/welded. chopped 113" wheelbase on 38's. Never got to wheel it...drove it some though.

These are all my old rigs. I miss some...don't miss others. But I am happy with what I have now (listed on a previous page)...or at least I will be as funds become available to do to them what I want...especially the MJ!!!

Wow! I feel a little better about how many cars I have owned.

So 6 vehicles that are all mine...

so 4 vehicles and a trailer that are all mine...
...purchased by me
...paid in full by me
...titled to me
...insured by me

I work hard for what i have, and paid for everything myself.

melkor, is that civic 5 spd or auto? wanna sell it? :D i need a daily that gets decent mileage, but i don't like automatic trannies. i haven't been able to find a single one with a 5spd that isn't all ricer and ragged out....

My shame... 1991 Toyota Camry Wagon (DX, baby). Roughly 40 horses of pure unadulterated pain. Bought it for $500 almost 3 years ago, now almost 300k on the clock.

ron1.jpg

I'm debating painting it flat black and writing "I broke the Jeep" down the side of it. It really is just a parts getter.

Civic is an auto... and i just bought it as a cheap means of transportation, so i won't be selling it.

...and flat black, and "broke the jeep" would be awesome!

I'm thinking so, too... Along with a big-ass park bench spoiler, and every Type R, Si, and ricer sticker I can find. It already sounds like death on wheels (pretty sure it needs a valve job).

Not sure if anyone here is an Aqua Teen Hunger Force fan (particularly the early episodes), but I'm also planning on getting vanity plates for both the XJ and the Camry... "FLARGEN" and "DINGLE", respectively :)
