I'm going to try and make it for at least a night and a day, but chances are I'll have to just make it a day trip.

that'll work. a lil wheelin's better than no wheelin....right ?

hope to see ya there Kyle, it's been a while since we've seen you in action.

Rod, guys...
That week end is really a crazy week end up there, I'm serious you would be better off "trail wise" the week end before.
A lot of people are up there Memorial week end and people get short tempered with over population, and the irresponsibles come out of the wood work that week end.. doing it the weekend before Memorial week end makes more sense from a family wheelin' experience , just something to think about... my .02

That's a good point. I'm fine the weekend before, or after.

I was actually thinking the same thing as well. I can only imagine Firebreak 5 at around 11:00 on Memorial Day weekend, wow.

Although, like I said before I'm fine with any day as long as we get a good turnout. If we stay away from Browns Camp (campground), and plan our route accordingly, we shouldn't have to much trouble. There may even still be snow up there too.

sweet, it looks like i will be pulling out some time arter work on sat night. i get off at 1pm 4pm or 8 or 9.

my boss is not sure yet.. any one thinking of leaving about that time, im not going home till monday.

It sounds like the majority has voted for Memorial Day weekend, but I thought I would stir the pot and throw this out there.

Rock Crawl event being held at the Crushers on May 31. Sounds like it will be a good show. I don't know if I can swing back-to-back weekends to TSF, so now I'm torn between the two. It would be nice to watch this event for a good part of Saturday, wheel the remaining part of the weekend, and then come home Sunday (5/31). Time will tell though, maybe I'll be able to swing both weekends.

I would love to go watch that event. I kind of agree with the people saying Memorial Weekend could be nuts and over crouded and we should pick another day.

I just realized the Oregon Trail Rally is the 18th, which I also wanted to go watch. It now looks like May is booked solid for me. I think a good compromise would be the rally and then the crawl at the end of the month, with mid-terms in between. :confused1

If we could get a few people interested in going to the crawl, and then a little bit of wheeling afterwards at the end of the month that would be nice. Then for those who planned on going Memorial Day weekend, they can still go as planned.
