JV To-Do list........

I have one customer rig in here right now that's going to be gone this week and then if you want to drop it off one weekend and pick up the next that's not a problem, we have plenty of indoor secure space.

DEAL. Let me know when youre ready.

Last weekend to wrench! :repair:

Get those last second upgrades done

Well, I guess it's time to put the motor in, put the steering gear and ram back on, make the new big assed Griffin radiator fit, make new tubing for the header panel, put the hood on, but a new battery in, fix the broken fuel cell mounts, plumb the vacuum lines and throttle cable for the new manifold and HO throttle body, put on the Hesco TPS adapter and figure out the IAC motor, and hope the SOB runs. Also fix the leaking fuel line and replace one brake drum on the Meyers Tow'd, which I'll be bringing out.

1. Front driveshaft (JE Reel is working on it right now) PICKING UP TODAY
2. Move axle forward one inch, adjustable arms top and bottom. DONE
3. Move rear leaf mounts down and back one inch. DONE

5. CB radio. MAYBE SUNDAY
6. Beadlock inserts (another pipe dream) NOT GONNA HAPPEN

I'm out for the week at our place so my list includes all the bikes, buggy and my kids Tacoma too.

We're heading out this weekend to do electrical so all of my work gets to be done at night, fun stuff.

killled my transfer case friday so i get to fix that now. zero rear wheel drive and it pops and skips in 4wd. crushed my crossmember so i have to make a new one or fix that too.

I'd love to, but I work non stop. :(

My only real option would be to hand it off to you on a weekend and pick it up the following weekend. And i'm sure you don't want my jeep taking up your shop space for a week.

Spotted your rig on Friday

I'd love to know what went wrong with your TC. I would guess you have a yolk spinning on the output shaft.

at first i thought that, but the bolt for the yoke isnt spinning and is tight, so i dont think it's the problem. ill be pulling it apart soon, i'll post up the findings. it did go out with a hell of a bang though.

Probably a couple options main shaft behind the planetaries, input gear, range sleeve, or planetaries themselves. If it's not making a lot of noise and still powering the front output it's probably main shaft.

big bang probably means the main shaft broke internally....sort of odd regardless.

You going to have it ready for Goatfest? I do have a spare 231 in the garage but I was going to cut it for a reduction box. I gave away the internals from my last one to a guy in Temecula. I'll have to check the splines though! You probably need 23?
