Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

yesterday:
fabbed and welded some 3/16" LCA skids. finally got around to welding on new swaybar brackets after having to cut them off for my OTK steering conversion. cut back some more of my front bumper where the tire was contacting it at full stuff. cut back LCA mount (shock perches) where the LCAs were contacting them at full droop.

Yeah yesterday I fabbed up a perch for a sub machine gun, something like 50. cal. Been some varmints out this way latley. After that I built a rollcage real quick, a gun rack for ma rifles, a smokeless ashtray, and kevlar reinforced my doors for maximum body damage resistance.

I dont know if there is time, maybe you can borrow my spray on armor I recieved from a top secret nasa space lab place, & rub your undercarrige in bacon grease so you can just glide over all the rocks.

most importantly, i think i finally solved my DW. the trackbar mount bracket (frame side) had some very slight play (it was barely noticable, which is i guess why i hadn't noticed it before), so we ran a few welds to keep it from loosening up again. i haven't driven it enough to determine for sure that the DW is gone, but it seems to be, and the steering is definitely more stable.

I kind of wanted to weld mine too but im worried about needing to change it, especially after all the bacon grease is on it.

you don't put bacon grease on your trackbar bracket, silly. it's almost like you don't know anything about bacon-greasing a rig for wheeling.

Well I only date really fat, hungry women, so getting food bi-products off of things usually isnt a problem.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

Quigley does very nice custom driveshaft work. They are in Northern PA ... you can call them with the specs and they'll build whatever you want.

You can also go through Dave at FullCircle - he gets a small discount. Its not really much of a discount, but he will talk to you about what you want and then put in the order for you ..... that way you know you'll be getting exactly what you need.

If you tell them its for an off-road vehicle, they can build it out of some darn heavy duty stuff.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

thanks, but I dont need a new one, just a rebalance since im picking up vibes at like 45 now with these 4.56's. I have their info, but its a bit on the pricy side imho.

Rich@ Brandi's did a stellar job and i'm loving 4.56's with 32"s.
