June 23 Rubicon Trip info

Anyone has an inverter in their jeep? I was going to grab my cordless drill but I'd rather bring the 110V one instead.

I have a large inverter that runs my grinder with no problems.

As the Rubicon currently is, open diffs are going tomake for some VERY long days, especially if you are a rookie driver. Think long and hard about bringing open diffs to the 'Con.

I'll be leaving Tahoe side at 10am on Friday morning.

hey remi, i have a 1500 watt inverter too. hey crazy , good to riding with you again. hopefully you won't have to run the ready welder to fix hydro locked engines again. see ya in a few days! wasn't one of the "joes" running open diffs last year remi. i seem to remeber the dust on his windaow saying "got open diffs" which he mentioned to every locked.rocked and stuck yota crusier we had to either help fix of try to get around. "leave your birfields home" !

if anyone happens to have a spare stock tierod that will work as a spare i'll give ya 20 bucks for it if you could bring it, they are kinda hard to find down here.

thanks

For those driving up from SoCal on Thursday, plan to leave from Starbucks in Burbank at 5:15 AM

OK, so if I remember right in Burbank we'll have Cal, Mike, Kurt, myself.
Captain Ron is a maybe depending on how things work out timewise.
Did I miss anyone?

looks like i'm out. due to wild and crazy quarterly dead lines, my work "asked me" to cancel my vacation plans. so i am not going if i plan on still having a job that pays for my jeep habit. hope everyone has a great time and keep the traction side down and the fires in the stone rings! have fun cal, sorry i won't be riding with you this time. hope to get a run in soon. remi "ride fast and take chances" and let me know how the rig holds up. say hi to the dan and the rabbit and all the others there. gonna miss the sound of lee's esspresso machine steming milk in the wilderness....

They're dropping like flies! So it sounds like a real small group, which is cool.

I'm sitting up here in Tahoe waiting for people to arrive tomorrow. The weather is beautiful. A lot better than the 110 degree heat I just left in Vegas.

See you guys tomorrow!
