Could not agree more....

I have had 3 pairs of rainbows over the last 6 yrs. You cant beat em. I still have two of the pairs in action at this point.

You guys have fun and take lots of pics.

Some of us are already back: we left the trail last night at about 7pm and drove through the night.
ANyways it was a lot of fun, eventfull and interesting. I ripped the axle tube right past the passenger side uca mount off in half and thanks to some amazing welding by Dan Turner I was able to finish the trail (ripped it off first night from the looks of it due to prior damage, more details and pics on that later).

Anyways, I'm going to take a nap and post some pics later :D

Can't wait to see pics of that.

After I rest up a bit I'm going to the boneyard to get a D30 housing: I don't have the money nor the time to build a D44......

my buddie in lakewood has a 86 grand waggy d44 in his driveway all complete.. Im sure when he gets back from Alaska, he would part with it... I wont have my 30 avail untill I get to finish my 44...

Just woke up from my post drive home nap, and went out to survey the carnage that is my jeep.

I think my carpet is beyond repair, but I'll rip it all out after work tommorow and steam clean it. Pop'd my diff fillers open and I'm still pissing white fluid after two changes, which doesnt please me, and my rear hatch doesnt close correctly anymore (I still think that was nice spotting rabbit! At least I didnt end up in a lake..)

Remi, have you checked to see if that guy in the Sami lived? I didnt catch his name nor do I have a clue what hospital to call, but I'm really wondering.

What I learned at the Rubicon Trail - GET A FRONT LOCKER! ;)

I haven't heard, and not too sure I want to, but he got flown to Sutter hospital in Roseville.

I just called Sutter, but they won't release any info without my knowing his full name. I think his first name was Steve, but don't have enough info to find anything out.
