JP magazine is building 5.0L

I subscribed to JP about a month ago and haven't seen an issue yet.

It takes a while to get your first issue. Just got mine, took a little over a month. It's worth the wait since wal-mart don't carry it anymore.

another way to get jp mag is on zinio.com. digital copy of the magazine. cheaper for the subscription too.

Yeah, but thats just too big of a hassle in the bathroom.

nice! so is comp cams not a good choice for the 4.0?

I've had 3 or 4 comp cams and only one failed, but the reason is undetermined.. don't know if their was their fault or the engine's . All the cam companies use the same cam core for the 4.0L, how each company treats the cam is different though. I don't think comp cam is bad though. Use a good cam company (Comp Cam, Lunati, Howard, etc), perform the proper break in, run an oil that has a high level of zddp (search bobistheoilguy.com), and avoid excessive spring pressures, and you shouldn't have a problem.

Wow, cool in concept but almost the cost of 2 brand new engines installed by your local jeep stealer.

1) Its 505 performance... all their stuff is gold plated... like Hesco, but without a good history... 2) Who gets an engine replaced at the dealer? Do they even know how to work on a 4.0L anymore or get parts?
