Scarification? Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the point...

The scars with the best stories are those you get accidentally. Every scar should have a story behind it - and "I just felt like getting it" just ain't it...

Piercing is odd enough for me - scarification and branding just don't do it... A good tattoo, or two, I'd not mind - but I can't see going any farther than that - besides, I've got enough scars that I've gotten incidentally that I don't see any need to go get one on purpose...

Nope - not good enough. I've got scars with gunshots, stabs, and roads accidents behind them - going to a shop to get one just won't do it for me.

Kinda kills the "cool" factor when you PAY someone to scar you up - all mine either came across for free, or I was getting paid while I got them - and the stories are a lot better than "some guy with an X-acto knife...", y'ask me...

Its funny i was going to start a thread to show off your tatts. I got a few of my own that i think are pretty original. I have a GM seat belt going accross my stomach. I have spark plugs on each side of my chest and this is my latest...

new school looking, its a bad pic because of the shine. Its not done, need to finish of the lettering and put the sunset behind the letters. USA MADE because ill never drive an import, that, and my old man would kill me lol.

I would show my plugs and seatbelt but i dont know how the forum would like me w/ my shirt off lol. Ill email whoever wants to see it.

yea i hear ya. kinda like goin out and throwin some big rocks at the jeep and keyin the hell out of huh.
 
Yeah - all the minor damage to my rig is legitimate roads damage, as far as I can tell (I haven't done any myself - although I do have to replace that rear bumper - or just get paintable front and rear bumpers (I plan on repainting it anyhow - probably Gillespie OD or similar.)

If you're going to get a bulls-eye, tho, get it on your forehead, or on your Adam's apple.

I guess I'm just a firm believer that scars should be "badges of honour" of some sort - and while I don't have anything against a good scar, it should have a good story (remind me to tell you about the time I nearly cut my left index finger off, if you see me in person. I'll show you the scar!)

i've got 9 tattooes and 2 body piercings. have thought about getting more piercings done at some point in time, but the idea of needles near my nose, eyebrows, or anything that is almost always covered by some type of underwear, i decided against awhile ago. plus if i want any type of active or professional job, anything like that that would show or get in the way is completely out. might get the upper cartilage in my ears pierced again at some point in time. my newest tattoo is aviator snoopy on my left side (will show pics later, just got a new digicam and still messin with it)

btw....am not gonna ask where all of your 14 piercings are (hopefully all are above the belt)

I wouldnt wanna fight that chick....if thats a real tat and not drawn on that would hurt like hell...If she can handle that she could kick anyones ass.

whoever is getting a tatoo, because of the car/truck they drive.... i think you should seek some professional help. And.... NO! do not get a MECHANIC, go to a shrink:)!
