jeep tattoo suggestions

I wasn't planning on getting one, I don't understand what makes it "worth it."

i guess it's not "worth it" like life altering or i couldn't do without. but it's not one i regret. maybe that's a better way to explain it. and it's "usefull" in that it feels good. it actually "benefits" for something unlike earings. they look good, but don't really do anything. i guess that's what i meant by "it's worth it".

Pierced peeners are like XJ's...

modified because in stock condition the performance is limited and lackluster...

;)

sorry. not the best pic quality.

not deep life meaning, but i've been into werewolfs my whole life.
Picture023.jpg

had that picture for 4 years, and liked it so much i decided to get it
Picture022.jpg

scorpio is my sign
Picture021.jpg

ok, so i messed up once. but i still like it. whatever it is.
Picture020.jpg

got that for my honeymoon. wife and me wanted to get something to mark the wedding, but didn't want to jump into matching tats that we might regret. i'm really into sharks and decided to use that. she got a dragon. so that tat symbolizes/reminds of that transition in my life.
Picture019.jpg

my wife's sign is taurus
Picture018.jpg

like i said. i'm really into sharks
Picture028.jpg

my whole life i've been into robotics and the combining of human and robotics. biomechanical. since i can't get a real robotic arm, this is the best i can do. i will get my entire forearm and hand done like that.
Picture029.jpg

different angle
Picture030.jpg

chinese for Heather. my wifes name. yes i had it verified before i got it done.
Picture031.jpg

i'm german. that's the german eagle. i'll have to add/modify to that one a little cuz you can't see any of the yellow that it's supposed to have.

2 years ago on my senior trip i promised my classmates i was going to get a tat but when we went to the parlor i couldnt find anything i really wanted so i ended up getting "your name" on my ass. i figured i held my end of the bargain and its something that no one is going to see unless i show them. plus its a good reminder of that trip and one hell of a conversation starter

you'll be the most popular guy (?) in lockup...

or at a brokeback mountain rodeo

i guess this means i'm going to have to get off my ass and get the pics of my tats posted.......a lot of folks have already seen my wile e. coyote tat (look at the other tattoo thread (i believe its another one about jeep tats). prolly need someone to host em for me tho. (any takers?)

btw.....i've had enough issues with piercings to know. my navel piercing kept getting infected till i got it done in germany. the piercers before that kept piercing it with a full hoop and a captive bead. the guy in germany used a curved barbell, and i think thats what i needed to keep it from getting infected. with my tongue, i went to a lady out on the coast who'd been doing piercings and tattooes for 14 years. when i get my ears done next time, i'm going to go to a piercer and pay good money (no walmart for me). theres a lot of times i've seriously considered getting more than just the tongue and navel done, but (1) i dont like the idea of someone i dont know (and dont particularly want) lookin at anything covered by underwear, and (2) i've heard way too many conflicting stories on whether or not it heightens or kills sensation. i think i'll stick with what i have. that and i'm not into facial piercings. i watched a girl get her nose pierced, and was like OH HELL NO.

Is it just me or does that look like U5A instead of USA?
If it is U5A I hope it was done on purpose..

Its u5a, it goes w/ the theme of a license plate. I was going to put U5A MAD3 but iwould have more people asking questions like this one.

Onto another subject, SCorpia_vette, im heading up to a detroit tattoo convention march 3rd-5th...its hosted by eternal tattoos and all of the top dogs will be there. Im entering my seatbelt and license plate for the most unique tattoo and im going to enter my leg as best "sleave on leg." My leg will be almost finished by then so i we'll see how that goes.

By the way your biomechanical looks good.

the biomechanical does look pretty cool. i think eventually i might start getting something more, either that i'll at some point have a helluva back piece. unfortunately, i have a lot of different types of tats, so not really sure what i'm gonna do, or what type of theme its going to be.

scorpio, that is nice work. I dig the robotic thing.

How many hours do you have into those?

k. i think those links belonged to ladywolf. those look really nice. like the coyote.

we do all my big tats in sessions and let it completely heal in between. it takes longer, but brings the color out nicely. my whole left arm was done in sessions(outline, grayshading, other shading if applicable, color).

i got about 8 or 9 hours into the werewolf and about the same on the biomechanical arm.

Most tattooed folks don't care if the non-tattooed understand what the tattoo means or if it was "worth it". The tat wasn't done for them, it was done for the wearer of the tat. My forearm tat is the easiest to understand (a POW/MIA symbol) and I still get the usual, "Why?". Followed of course by the, "Did it hurt?". LOL!!
