Im in Atlanta and somehow found this forum because i was looking for stuff on the 2500. i have a 2000 xj sport 4x4 and was wondering how much the kit would cost plus shipping. sorry if this has already been said but im new

If there is anyone that knows where i can get my hands on this conversion kit i would really appreciate some info. Im working on my project jeep now and really want to get this to finish off my project. How much is it going to cost? i would really like to be in on this next order. If there is anything i need to know please contact me.

Thanks

This thread is over a year old now. Rounding up all the people who tossed their name on the list will be difficult, so it may be hard to get enough people together to split the shipping without getting reamed...

... in short, "good luck". There are a couple guys on here with contacts in China who occasionally sell a kit or individual parts, though.

i got the 2500 parts im shipping them to sd this week . here are some pics

just to make aware, there is a seller on ebay with these parts. they have the header listed and says that the fenders and other parts are available. Has 100% + feedback.

Yeah, I emailed that yahoo!! If you want anything other than the grille(s) and headlights, he says he has to ship it all seperately. He quoted me $873 for the parts and $800 in shipping for the WHOLE conversion, except the taillights. And he CAN'T even get the body panels for the doors. $1600 seems a little steep to me...??

Ahh i see, yea that is a bit steep but really $873 for oem parts is not bad, so really its the shipping which, eh cant really do anything about ya know. Perhaps if you could get a third party shipper but you would have to work that out with him which may be a huge hassle, but good to know its possible to get it.

he quoted me alot cheaper then that, about 800 for everything shipping. But i just asked about changing the front end over not the whole thing. How do you know its oem i dont remember reading that?

Depends on your definition of OEM...? :) I guess inexpensive Chinese made parts for a Chinese made car would be considered OEM parts. :) But as for pricing, yeah, $873 for a full conversion, minus tail lights and body panels is not a bad price at all. I just don't understand why everything has to ship separately...? I asked him about it, but he said that's how he has to do it. You're better off taking a vacation to China for two weeks and then bringing it back with ya. ;)
