Considering Ironman 4x4 long arm kit. It’s hard to find install pics on the he web, so I was looking to see if anyone has some to share. I did search and came up short.
Also, thoughts on this kit and installation challenges?
Thanks in advance

I am having one put in. Well, both front and rear. I might be able to send pics either by phone or email.

Don't know specifically about the long arm kit but everything I have bought from Ironman 4x4 is really high quality and had no fitment issues. I have their track bar/brace and steering box brace and its all very heavy duty and well made. The lowers on that kit look beefy.

OK, a few thoughts on why I went with the Ironman kit. I do have Dirtbound's. I'd say the main reason is it covers the underside. IE a full plate underneath. Especially, if you install the rear one. The pieces are beefy. It is more expensive than most others. I did look at the Currie (??). Very similar. I remember almost 2X the $$$. I do have other items from Ironman. OTK kit and Gearbox stabilizers. The Axle bracket on the OTK didn't work out. I went with Stinky Fab.
Some of the issues with the Ironman is no real instructions. Pictures on his site could be better. Also, I am butting in long travel shocks. Boostwerks shock towers in the rear. I forget who's in the front.
Also, I factored in the $$ for covers or protection for the Transferase etc. for other kits. Sort of made the Ironman's cost a bit more doable.

I picked up the long arm kit. Got a screaming deal at less than 1/2 price. I’m not sure when I’ll get it installed, but I hope in the next few weeks. I’ll post my progress

That's awesome i have been looking in to this kit & am looking to purchase one. Where did you find it for half price?
Craigslist. It was on there for over a month. I had purchased drop brackets and thought they would be “fine”, especially with my metal cloak short arms, until I saw how low they hung. During that time this kit was calling me and I finally contacted the seller.
I put a few, brush on, coats of paint this weekend.

The mock up has started. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot time before I go on a jeep trip in a few weeks and I won’t get it done in time.
I know what I need to do for the exhaust and I’ll gather parts in the meantime.

Run it, it will self clearance (or bang some clearance with a hammer) and the Engine Master show proved that dents and dings in headers/exhaust doesnt affect power.

Unfortunately the lower arm will hit the exhaust too. I need to reroute the trans cooler lines and then tuck the exhaust. After that it should be, famous last words, an easy install
