Important

Morning gang.....Rainy week tn the horizon.....may get some shop items tied up finally, and hope it rains enough to get the WF mud off the XJ.

It is, I sold it to the guys that hunt on our farms. They have only paid for 1/2 of it (half the price I put on it, not what I paid :D), so I am still 1/2 owner and can use it as I want. We keep tags and insurance in my name due to them being out of state and a PIA to do the registration crap out there w/ vehicle being here. So without going any longer into an Altrocker post, I have $500 vested ownership in it at this time and 1/2 of the ownership :D

Cheese "it will likely make another WF appearance" Man

Kenna must have had too much fun on her first fishing trip...still sleeping and its 7:40 and she is usually awake by 6:15-6:30. I had a blast too though it's very true what they say...I did very little fishing and a lot of running around to make sure she didn't fall off a dock.

Anyone who's got kiddos that fish, at what age did you buy them their own pole?

Well gonna be looking at putting an outside electrical outlet in for welder and camper to be plugged into. Tried doing some welding today on trailer and ended up popping the breaker about 3 times. Looking at setting up a 30amp post for camper and welder to plug into. They won't be plugged in at same time. Was thinking like a 10 gauge line running out should be enough? Gonna put it on a GFCI as well.

I used this one. Lockable and weatherproof.

I think Case was 3 or 4 when we got him his own...now he uses the open face ones....not so successfully I might mention. We booked a guided fishing trip in Arkansas for the trip down over the 4th of July week. He is super stoked to hook onto a 20# stripper (that's a fish, not a person swinging on a pole :D)

She will turn 3 in January (which i realize is a long way from now) and I was planning on getting her one then so she could use it the following summer. She seems to be very interested, so we will see how the summer goes. I don't think she can quite grasp the concept of casting yet, so I'm guessing this summer will be too early. I suppose if she really wants something, i can get her a good old cane pole. That's how we all started in my family

Going to be listing the pop up for sale soon i think. im thinking a couple wave runners might be a little more fun to have. hopefully i can get enough out of the camper to swap out recreational hobbies.

any one want a decent pop up!

What's the plan with that trailer RedHeep

I have to take the red box off the top that the hippy carpenter built. Then a teardown to the frame, replace metal, service the axle, restore the parking brake and coat it.

The tub needs significant work. The hippy carpenter screwed the box to the tub about 3000 times, so there's a bunch of holes to fix, and he cut out the back panel to make his enclosed trailer doors, so I've got to fab a new panel. All that after I take it to the local blaster to find all the real problems.

Once it's serviceable, the boys and I are going to fill it up with camping stuff and go get lost. Nothing fancy on the top, just a canvas cover. I'd like to do some stuff later, like onboard water, solar and some battery stuff, but the first goal is to get it to the point where it's actually a trailer again.

Just ordered 6 tires for the RV...

bent over

mac 'nothing is cheap in a 22.5' gyvr

no more drunken wf shenanigans in the coop???

:bawl:

Next year we will have an obstacle course set up for idiots in the field adjacent to the parking lot.

This sounds like good entertainment!

We bought that Limited off Ebay for the Ninja, maybe paid a little too much but she wanted it bad. With a paint job I could sell it for more than I will have into it locally. Not that she would let me but it makes me feel better, lol.
