I think its kinda funny that people bitch about their shit getting hit by a plow when they park on the street. Stupid neighbors have plenty of room in their driveways just too lazy to clear them so they can use them.

The bad elf GPS receiver is Bluetooth connected to your tablet and runs a 10 hz refresh rate. It seems to be a better option over the garmin version.

There are several gps apps, but only a few that run offline. I'm looking at garmin street pilot or navigon for on road and a couple listed on the bad elf site to run topos.

If you have a garmin standalone gps, you can download complete topos converted to base camp files at gpsfiledepot.com.

I've already got it in a life proof case and I'm looking at ram mounts to put it in the vehicles.

Supposed to get discharged 10 min ago, but just like everything else in this hospital it won't be happening on time. We've had a pretty good time here...really good docs and nurses, but punctuality is not a strong point here lol. Ready for my own bed...though I will miss the bacon

We learned after the first two that if you want something you have to be adamant about it. When the third one was born, we showed up at 7 am on Saturday and left at 1 pm on Sunday.

We spent three days in the hospital with the first one for no reason and it was a military hospital, so they weren't making any more money. Doctors, nurses and attendants are shift workers, they'll leave you to your own devices until it's time for them to go home.
