Important

Headed out to do brakes on the truck. Today is the day I wish I bought a 4wd truck.

Thanks for the reminder Mac, I need to get a new belt. Should take me about 15 minutes :D

That trailer is awesome.

Where did you set the cab of your truck while you were replacing the belt drive stuff? :D :D

Damn, beat me to it :anon:

Trailer has lights and brakes (except one axle to adjust), bunch of little things left for trailer that should take only a couple more hours.

Changed both belts, both tensioners, both idler pulleys on the 350 tonight. Unless you've worked on a 6.4 truck none of you will appreciate the amount of bs...

You get a different trailer?

Lesson learned, should have gotten Motorcraft plugs for the 150... Autolites are making it run really rough, but I got them as a payment for some work I did so I used them. Guess I'll tackle that next week, maybe get the COPS off ebay that everyone else is using and just do it all...

normally id say talk to your friendly MWC ford dealer but 9 times out of 10 you can get motorcraft plugs cheaper at vatozone than i can get from ford.

I have no Autozone in town, just Oreilly's, Advanced, and CarQuest... I got these as payment for a job I did so I'm not too broken up about having to go and buy the motorcrafts... Just wish I followed my gut and did that to begin with...

The trailer is borrowed. It was built to haul a helicopter that some one took too the summer fairs for rides. It's interesting.

I guess I cant say **** around here ?

I feel like If I want it done in time I have to let them finish.
Maybe after Moab I will road trip out to one of you guys with the parts and rebuild it in a j-yard axle and sell it.

Make sure they save every piece they take off for you.

For a minute there I thought you had chopped yours up. I almost facepalmed it.

Passenger side caliper is toast. Won't retract. Spent 10 hours on the truck brakes, a trip to the hardware store and the parts store (before I found the bad caliper) and managed to get two wheels done.

Now I'm at dinner with my in laws. Mostly so I could go to the parts store without my wife yelling at me.

And I put a ten bladed aux fan in the jeep and pulled the eight bladed one out.

Had a family reunion today at my cousins house. We build jeeps, he restores tractors.

Here's an old Farmall he redid:

Here's our grandpa's Allis-Chalmers I used to ride around on as a kid. After grandpa passed, my cousin got it and is restoring it.
