It doesn't seem like much, but I bet it'Lo be just about perfect
You know, i had thought that but was trying to rule other stuff out. lockers on pavement in fwd are a real fun adventure.... guess I'll try and find a drive shaft shop to add a couple inches to the shaft.
I'm going to bed before midnight...
mac 'exhausted' gyvr
Who will I talk to on my way home?![]()
Sleep tight sunshine.![]()
Today is my 16 hour day, I leave my last stop in Toledo around 2:40 am, only a 2 1/2 hour drive to the shop, but its a long 2 1/2 hours.
Make sure it's a 93-95.0 (iirc) V8 ZJ front shaft. A 95.5 and later is actually a few inches shorter than an XJ auto 4.0 front shaft, it's like .6 inches longer or shorter than an XJ manual 4.0 front shaft, and in fact I'm running one as a front shaft. Speaking of which, I really need to jack my jeep up tomorrow and make sure it's not bottoming out, I don't want to blow my 231 up... again...
I win!
I'll take my beer anytime.![]()

removed the rear shaft today and the noise i had was gone.
The shaft is on the floor. I'll get it figured out.Wow! So that's the noise you've been complaining about! Fix that dude.
Heading to a gold mine in Nevada. It's a 1300 mile round trip. They had my truck in the shop till 2pm. Not a happy guy right now.
Which mine? At work we send a lot of crushing equipment and screens out to a few of them. From the pictures I have seen they are some giant holes in the ground you have to see to believe..
