timing is everything on tickets...i usually watch the fares starting 2 months out...there is usually a period where higher priced tickets drop down for a short time before going up again. i also love using pricelines name your own price. i've scored a lot of tickets for 200-250 doing that. one time we flew round trip for christmas from nyc for $125 per person...

I may have to use this mentality for WF next year & catch a Jeep pass seat.

i looked at the same tickets in january and they were $500...to fly into the small town of moab...THAT seemed reasonable...so when $380 came up today, i was all over it.

Went to Joe's crab shack with some friends tonight. Had a great time. They have a guy in there that makes balloon animals. Jokingly my buddy said can you make a gun and he responded with "I don't do anything with guns".....he then went on to say he was a democrat and blah blah blah.......then I started talking about shooting guns! :D

Joe's is OK , but if I;m spending that kind a money, it's Red Lobster all the way.

I finally return the trailer today... I will feel so much better not having to worry about it... Especially since I dragged it a total of 1500 miles, across 5 states, and never blew a tire, hub, or lost a lug nut...

just paid off 2 credit cards fully this morning...going to pay off one more once i can crack my damn password code! also checked car loan online and the check has cleared, so that is at a $0.00 balance...feels good. we get $150 credit for our insurance on the car, so now that the jeep is only $35 a month we won't have to pay car insurance for a while!

what size enclosed trailer would be the minimum for carrying a lifted xj?

we are weighing our options for how to store some of our un important stuff and the idea of buying a car trailer and paying on that instead of paying for a small storage unit came up...of course that means i would need a truck to pull it too. doubt it will happen, but just out of curiosity i figured i would at least look at the idea. there is a good possibility that my next vehicle will be a truck...

Got a line on a XJ Dana 44 with the limited slip, and 4.10 gears for $200 clams. Thinking thats a good deal. How's the consensus feel on that thought? I'm sure the L/S will be toast, and need rebuilt. Probably just replace it with a lunch box, or full carrier if the L/S carrier won't take a locker. It would pretty much let me sell both of the 8.25s I have and the 4.56 gear set I have for one of them as well. I'm planning on 30/31 for starters, and maybe up to 33, or 35s when they're wore out. By then I'm hoping it will no longet be a daily driver.

To me that doesn't seem like a bad deal on the xj dana 44. You may get lucky and limited slip be in good shape. If you end up selling some of your 8.25 parts let me know. Got two jeeps that could use some parts.

Took Sarah and he kayak up to Indy so she could get some real learning on how to correctly kayak. Came home to load up guns to go to the range. As I was bringing out the long guns, a door to door salesman was coming up the drive. At the range, my 380 was being stupid (work at times and not at other times, it is a cheap one that isn't worth much). My 357 cylinder got stuck inside the gun (the screw that holds the cylinder in gets loose and I think that caused it to get stuck). My Marlin 60 rifle got messed up, somehow the ammo tube came off! The 357 and rifle are at the gun smith now. The rest of my guns functioned perfectly though. The range had a rimfire match today, thought we weren't competing in it, I know the match director and one of the stages was done being shot so we reset the targets. I have never fired my rimfire madness gun during the match yet, so I got some practice in on the gun. Sarah is planning on competing in this match also, so I she shot the stage also. She has to get used to quickly changing the magazines though.

The LS in the 8.8 has 200k on it as far as I know... I just dd a fluid flush and its been just fine...

jjust got droped off, too drunk to drive...

Scotch Compassion

A woman was sitting on a blanket at the beach. She had no arms and no legs.

Three men, from England, Wales and Scotland, were walking past and felt sorry for the poor woman.

The Englishman said, 'Have you ever had a hug?'
The woman said, 'No,' so he gave her a hug and walked on.

The Welshman said, 'Have you ever had a kiss?'
The woman said, 'No,' so he gave her a kiss and walked on.

The Scotchman came to her and said, 'Aye, ave ya ever been fooked, lassie?'
The woman broke into a big smile and said, 'no'.

He said, 'Aye - Ya will be when the tide comes in!
