I'm no engineer, but how is that spose to distribute weight? Seem like you still have the same amount of weight to the receiver.

I really don't know. it's not cheap, like $450. I was searching for them and found it.

However...... this is the one that I bought, tried and trued...

Saturday my Cooperating teacher from Woodbury, MN called and left a voice mail about a possible job at the high-school there...

12 emails later (to that teacher, the current teacher at job, the schools principle, and the principle at my placement) I will be getting a call sometime today and will potentially have a job up there.

I really want/need this job, at the same time I told my boss at the dealership (that I've worked at on/off for the last 5 years) that I was committed and planned on working there for at least the next year or three...

Bought my truck 21 days ago... I have a loan on it. I have not received a title or anything from them that I could use to get it plated. My understanding was that I'd receive the old title (with leinholder declared on it) and take it to the BMV, transfer my plates, and then the BMV would send the title to the bank. Is that not the case anymore?

If I was supposed to receive it, I need to be sending them a letter today so that if I still don't get it in 10 days I have some recourse...

Yeah the dealership should've packaged the title and other paperwork and sent it to you. That's why they give you a 30 day tag (or allow you to use current tags from vehicle that was sold/traded). To allow the process you just described to happen.

I'd be calling the stealership...

We got our paperwork on the van within 10 business days from the purchase date. You should have it by now, I'd be making a phone call.

I would be calling too. I have heard of boat dealers (one in particular that i wont mention the name of). Holds the title of the boat for as long as possible, or until you throw a fit and get a lawyer, that way they can show the boat value on their books and make their numbers look good. In this case it was a $500,000 boat that the customer paid cash for. So the dealer had the guys cash deposited and still head the title of the boat with a value of $500,000.

...and you didn't check this before you put it in? :dunno:

All my spare shafts have new joints in them.
It was moving freely, no binding or anything. I'll be rebuilding a couple shafts this week. I have two new u joints sitting on the table at home. Got one unit bearing from hobag and i'm gonna buy another. I can swap out a shaft in less than 30 minutes by myself.

Thanks guys. I bought it from a used lot in Kokomo that has locations all over and a pretty decent reputation so I didn't expect this. I will be calling them at lunch and sending a letter demanding the title anyway. Another 10 days and I can return the vehicle, according to the BMV and Secretary of State. I'm guessing without a lawyer I wouldn't get very far. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

you guys do things funny down there. Here the dealership will take all the paper work to the Secretary of State (BMV for you IN guys), transfer the title and buy the plates, which the plates usually show in the mail within a week or so. Of course we pay plate/registration fees to the dealership, but they do all the work.

Even with a lein holder, WE hold the title, with the leinholder's name on the title. After payoff the leinholder sends a letter releasing the lein that we simply attach to the title.

Much easier here. :D

Truth. And when purchased from a private seller, you just take the signed of title into SOS and they give you a plate and send you the new title in the mail.

On the drive home from Texas... Tore it up wake boarding behind my buddy's new Tige boat, there is such a difference on the wake and using the gps speed control. I am one sore SOB today. Being 36 and not conditioned for that is making for an uncomfortable 16 hour drive home.

Jake, glad u got the box :D. It is a traveling box so don't destroy it. It has transported parts to a couple members now...keep it alive my friend.

I wish there was someone there to take a picture of the recipients face when they first get the package.

I know I probably got a text within minutes if not seconds, when the original recipient recieved it.
