Important

Unfortunately, that's not an isolated case. It happens fairly regularly, and most of them go unreported.

Actually, that should be for any IT staff, not just senior, and doubly so for anybody with any level of administrative responsibility. Not only do you disable their accounts, you also make sure to terminate any current open connections. Yes, that's happened. A senior IT staff was terminated, and all of his accounts were terminated. He still had an open VPN connection to his home, and that gave him enough access to cause trouble.

oh it happens frequently I'm sure. THe only differece here was that it happened in the public sector where they can't sweep it under the rug.

Sounds like you should invest in a row of Really Big Rocks.

People are a little more careful if they see that, and if they aren't... :dunno:

I like this idea, but think we should expand.

We just "fixed" the glitch.

Excuse me, waiter? I ordered a mai tai and you brought me a pina colada. And I said no salt, NO salt on the martarita.
Just got an update on my brother. He had his esophogus scoped and they said that a mix of a bad food allergery, and acid reflux are what is making things uncomfortable for him. They took a biopsy of teh "spot" in his throat and will have results of that next week. Signs fiorm the scoping are not looking like it is a "bad" esophogus cancer as originally thight, but still waiting results of todays biopsy. Please continue to keep him and his family in your thoughts.

Still looking better than before. I'll keep him in mind.

Been thinking about him, thanks for the update. So I assuming it's possbile he doesn't have any cancer. This is what I am praying for.

It is looking more that way Sue. I spoke with him last night and they said preliminary tests and the scoping are showing that it is far less likely cancerous. He is still ihas quite a bit of discomfort, but they have a small regimen of meds they are putting him on and will await the results of the biopsy. The spot that they believed to be cancerous is looking like it may be more of a result of the acid eating away at a spot in the esophogus. Thanks for the prayers sister.

That's got to be some awesome news!!

How long does one have to get a car ot of your yard before yu can sell it?
:D

I have a downward sloping driveway. One winter I pulled out 4 cars. They would pull in to turn around and find out they couldn't back out. The further down the driveway they went, the less likely it would be that they would get out. I would be alerted to the issue when I kept hearing an engine sitting on it's limiter and the sound of spinning tires ;)

One woman pulled in to turn around knowing full well she had no reverse (FS Suburban). When I looked out, she was sideways, well into the driveway, and was trying to drive on the neighbors lawn to get out. I debated calling the Police, but figured that was not very neighborly, so I got out the Jeep out, drove out on my lawn, and pulled her backwards so she could drive out. As soon as I was unhooked, she peeled away in a huff; not even a "Thank You".

Well the second guy that ended up in my yard just came over and appologized for the mess he made and said he will clean it up when everything thaws out......
